Meet Angie Roherty
Owner of Inner Soil Massage and Wellness
Licensed Massage Therapist, B.S. Natural Health

I have been a massage therapist and been working in the natural health field for almost 25 years now.  I specialize in full body therapeutic massage, abdominal therapy, prenatal, lymphatic, pediatric, and infant massage.  I have taken hundreds of classes in massage, the human body, nutrition, food, herbs, oils, other plant medicines, and permaculture. There is a profound reflection connecting the human body and mother earth.

One of the most influential trainings for me has been The Arvigo Technique of Maya Abdominal Therapy.  It taught me to see it as the center of our bodies and feel the interconnectedness and it's dynamic matrix. Our abdomen holds all of our vital organs and holds the majority of the digestive, reproductive, nervous, circulatory and lymphatic systems. It is our center, physically, emotionally, and spiritually. Tension and congestion held in our bellys can be connected to so many other imbalances and aches and pains in our bodies. By starting to balance your center, you will start to balance and nourish your inner being, your inner "soil".

I am still in awe of nature and the human body everyday. I continue to learn new things all the time. Sometimes I feel like the more I know, the less I know. But, I keep going and growing. And, I encourage my clients to do the same.

I love teaching clients self care massage and other health tips to take home with them. I have extended this teaching into workshops and wellness coaching. Of course it's important to see a professional, but it's most important what you are doing, thinking, being, and breathing on a daily basis. I want to empower folx to take there health into there own hands.

The work is never done. But, you should never have to do life alone. When you slow down and take the time for yourself and really listen, that's when the deeper healing really begins. I am here to support you and give space for this to happen.

I am grateful for all the privileges I have and have had in my life. But, as most of us, I have also experienced deep emotional and physical pain, trauma, and have overcome addictions. Through bodywork, nourishing my body and mind, spending time in my nature, and learning to prioritize self care, I have made healing a priority in my life, for myself and for others.
